Kim Kardashian Preparing to Adopt First Child?
Kim Kardashian is reportedly in the process of adopting her very first child after months of telling family and friends that she is ready to start her own family.
The 31-year-old, who has kept a low profile since abruptly ending her marriage to NBA star Kris Humphries after 72 days, could soon adopt a foreign child, according to OK Magazine.
"It's all top secret, but the adoption is already underway. Kim is ready. She's made inquiries and gotten information. Now she just has to decide where she wants the baby to come from," a source told OK.

"Kim has always been very maternal. Of the three sisters, she's the one who's been saying that she's ready for kids the longest," the insider added.
The reality TV personality appears desperate to revamp her tarnished image, as critics point out that she suddenly began publicizing her charity work since receiving widespread backlash for ending her short-lived marriage.
Although Kardashian insists that her marriage to Humphries was genuine, her fans were led to think otherwise following reports that she pocketed in excess of $15 million for selling her wedding photos and exclusive footage of the lavish nuptials, which she denies.
After reports that the ongoing bad press has affected her business ventures, Kardashian appears to have a new found interest in philanthropic work and some critics believe that the rumored adoption could be another publicity stunt.
In December, Kardashian responded to criticisms that her trip to Haiti for charity was spent attending fashion shows and shopping as opposed to partaking in charity work.
"Some media outlets have tried to tarnish the motive behind my visit and have written completely ridiculous and untrue things. The truth is that I was at the Haitian Artisan Fair, where the amazing men and women who make their jewelry and crafts sell them to visitors to make a living, and I bought some beautiful jewelry!" Kardashian wrote on her website.
In an attempt to rehash her image that was tarnished after her wedding, Kardashian recently announced that she was donating double the value of her wedding gifts to charity, which again prompted critics –including Humphries- to condemn her.
Sources close to Humphries believe that Kardashian should simply return all wedding gifts to guests in addition to her charity donation after what he believes was a fraudulent wedding, according to TMZ.
