Kim Kardashian Sells Used Stuff On eBay, Donates Proceeds to Church
Kim Kardashian is selling a number of used goods on eBay and is donating a portion of each sale to a Calabasas Christian congregation.
The 31-year-old reality star, who was pictured attending Life Change Community Church's Sunday service, has listed a number of used items on her eBay store including dresses and tank tops varying in price from around $17.50 to over $2500, according to Yahoo.com.
The eBay store, known as Kim's Closet Clothing Store, states that, "a percentage of the proceeds from this and all my auctions always benefits charity," according to the store's website.
"Thanks for stopping by to check out my auctions. Bid on auction items from my whole family, and don't forget to check out my sister Khloe's eBay Store. Everyone has been busy cleaning out their closets so have fun and good luck bidding!" the store's statement reads.
"A portion of the sale from these auctions support Life Change Community Church. And in case you didn't know, anytime you sell something on eBay, you can donate a percentage of your proceeds to charity," the statement adds.
As The Christian Post previously reported, the controversial E! network star recently announced that she was turning to her faith after a whirlwind of bad press following her 72-day marriage to NBA star Kris Humphries.
"On [my] way to church with the girls!" Kardashian tweeted.
"I want to start a bible study group with my friends!" another tweet read.
Kardashian's matriarch, Kris Jenner, also attended the Sunday service and like her daughter Kim, she took to Twitter to thank the church's pastor, Brad Johnson, for sharing a helpful sermon about "Toxic Family Members."
Fans have criticized Kardashian's church attendance, suggesting that she is simply using the church in a bid to gain more positive publicity.
After Kardashian filed for divorce on Oct. 31, a number of media outlets suggested that her marriage to Humphries was never sincere and that she had staged it for financial gain.
Kardashian has denied receiving any money for her wedding.
