Kim Kardashian Shares North West 1st Birthday Party Video on Instagram (PHOTOS)
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West hosted a lavish "Kidchella"-themed birthday party for North West one week after she officially turned 1.
The famous couple held a fun-filled celebration for baby Nori at Kourtney Kardashian's Calabasas home on Saturday, according to TMZ.com.
Friends and family gathered in the backyard of the lavish property where a Ferris wheel and karaoke stage were set up to entertain guests. The event was designed to reflect a more child-friendly version of the annual Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival held in Indio, California.

Guests were reportedly treated to hair-braiding, face-painting, tie-dyed T-shirts and bandannas. There was also a churro stand, snow cones and cotton candy machines.
Kardashian, 33, took to social networking site Instagram to share photos and video footage of the event. In one video, the reality star's sisters Kendall and Kylie are seen making use of the karaoke stage as friends, including Jaden Smith, join in.
"A little karaoke at Kidchella," Kardashian captioned alongside the video.
North West's June 15 birthday fell on Father's Day and Kardashian and West, 37, opted for a low-key celebration which including a trip to the Children's Museum Of Manhattan in New York.
"It was Father's Day, so we hung out, we went to a few museums in New York. We just had a really low-key birthday – so it's kind of her birthday week," Kardashian told DailyMail U.K.
"And this weekend we are having a birthday party for her, back in LA," she added.
Kardashian recent opened up about her parenting methods and the reality TV star described herself as a "strict" mother to her daughter.
"I am a strict mother. I'm really fun and playful, but I'm really strict on nap time, and sleeping in her own crib," she said.
"Like Kourtney's style is where her kids sleep in bed with her, so especially with the third baby coming – they're going to need a bigger bed or they're going to need some other rules," she said about her pregnant sister.
While Kourtney, 35, uses attachment parenting methods, Kardashian, 33, prefers detachment parenting. She and West only sleep with their baby girl on weekends which enables them to have private time during the week.
"And maybe on weekends, [North will] come and sleep in the bed with us. But … I'm not crazy strict," she explained.
