Kim Kardashian Talks 'Permanent Relationship' With 'Perfect Match' Kanye West
Kim Kardashian has been dating 33-year-old rapper Kanye West for six months, and although she is still married, the 31-year-old reality television star is ready to discuss walking down the aisle with her boyfriend.
Kardashian appeared on "The View" Wednesday where she was asked if she was planning on marrying West. The reality television star admitted that she was still married to NBA player Kris Humphries who she is trying to divorce and seemed to hesitate when speaking about her future with West.
"Technically I'm still married," Kardashian said. "In a perfect world, when you find someone, you know, when you find someone who is your perfect match …"
Host Barbara Walters decided to interrupt Kardashian to inquire about West being "the one."
"I think so," Kardashian responded. "I definitely think any [relationship] I'm in now would be a permanent relationship."
The reality television star seemed to echo the same sentiments when media mogul Oprah Winfrey asked if West was her fairytale.
"I definitely feel like… I mean I have to first get divorced," Kardashian said. "To have him in my life, this way, I think says a lot about us."
The world officially learned about West's love for Kardashian in the April release of his song, "Way Too Cold."
West mentioned that the reality star's relationship with Kardashian's estranged husband Humphries, 27-year-old Brooklyn Nets forward, may have kept her away from the rapper and insinuated that he had the power to pull strings with close friend Jay-Z who also partially owns the NBA team.
Since then, West has mentioned Kardashian in several songs such as "Clique" and "Perfect B----." The mother of the reality television star, Kris Jenner, said this is the first time that she has seen her daughter truly happy.
"I've never seen Kim this happy," Jenner told E! last month. "She's calm, she's happy, she's content in her life right now. I think she's working hard, she loves what she's doing, she's passionate about her projects, and she's loving life right now."
The Kardashian matriarch even offered her daughter advice if she did choose to marry West.
"My advice as a manager would be get out of town as fast as you can and go to a secret location," Jenner told E!. "But you know, I might have a different opinion tomorrow. You just never know."
