Kim Kardashian Will Marry Kanye West: 'This Is It for Me'

Kim Kardashian recently opened up about her relationship with Kanye West and the reality star revealed that while the couple plan on walking down the aisle, they are in no rush for marriage.

In January, Kardashian, 31, confirmed that she and West, 35, are expecting their first child and while it became a celebratory time for the pair, the reality star's ongoing divorce from Kris Humphries threatened to overshadow the the baby news. Kardashian says that marriage to West will come in due course.

"Sometimes you're just not ready. A person could have it all, and you're not ready for it all but this is where I probably always should have been," Kardashian told Cosmopolitan regarding her relationship with West.

"[Marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don't have this sense of urgency about it," she continued. "I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me."

Kardashian infamously filed for divorce from Humphries, 28, in 2011 after just 72 days of marriage. Months later in 2012 the reality TV star, who is said to be 15 weeks along in her pregnancy, then began dating West.

The couple, who has been dating for one year, will reportedly exchanged vows and wedding rings in an unofficial wedding ceremony to mark their undying love. The pair cannot yet wed because Kardashian is still legally married to the NBA star.

"Kanye is very traditional. He'd have liked to marry Kim now they are having a baby but with Kim still married to someone else, there is not much he can do," a source told The Sun U.K.

"It won't be official like a wedding because Kanye wants that to be extra special when the time comes," the insider continued.
