Kim Kardashian's Baby Attends Cousin Penelope's Birthday Bash

Kim Kardashian and her newborn daughter North West attended the first birthday party for Penelope Disick on Sunday, according to reports.

The one-month-old first child of Kardashian and Kanye West was able to attend cousin Penelope's party, but remained indoors.

Baby North or Nori as she is reportedly nicknamed "stayed in the house because she's too little to be around that many people," said a source at Us Weekly.

"She's doing great though," the insider added.

Meanwhile, the birthday girl Penelope is the daughter of Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick. The couple also share 3-year-old son Mason.

For Sunday's festivities, Kardashian planned a special birthday party for Penelope at her mother Kris Jenner's house.

"Balloon partyyyyy," the 34-year-old posted to Twitter Sunday along with photos of the party's décor, including humungous balloons. "Major balloon party that is!"

The balloons from Los Angeles' Geronimo Balloons came complete with handmade paper frill with colors matching the party's palette- light pink, nude pink, rose and creams, according to Us Weekly.

"Happy 1st birthday to my sweetest precious angel," Kardashian posted on Penelope's actual birthday, July 9. "I can not believe it has been a year. Truly blessed."

Despite attending Penelope's birthday party, the public has not yet spotted baby North.

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner fooled viewers of her new talk show Monday when she took the stage cradling a small infant. The child turned out to be that of Jenner's makeup artist.

"Kim's just got to do that on her own time," explained Jenner during Monday's television series premiere. "Let her have her privacy for a little bit and calm down. And when she comes out, she comes out."
