Kim Williams, Wife of Former Justice, Confesses to Murders

The wife of a former Justice of the Peace has confessed to her involvement in the murders of Mark Hasse and Michael and Cynthia McLelland. She also provided information about her husband's involvement, and both are expected to be charged with three counts of capital murder in the state of Texas.

Kim Williams was arrested yesterday in connection with the murders of the three Texas officials. Her husband, former Justice of the Peace Eric Williams, was arrested over the weekend for making terrorist threats while police executed a search warrant at his home.

"During the interview, Kim Williams confessed to her involvement to the scheme and course of conduct in the shooting deaths of Mark Hasse, Michael McLelland and Cynthia McLelland. Kim Williams described in detail her role along with that of her husband, Eric Williams, whom she reported to have shot to death Mark Hasse on January 31, 2013 and Michael and Cynthia McLelland on March 30, 2013. During the interview, the defendant gave details of both offenses which had not been made public," the affidavit read, according to The Forney Post.

"He wouldn't do anything to hurt anybody," Kim initially testified at the sentencing phase of his theft case last year. "I'm standing by him 100 percent."

Yesterday she finally confessed to the brutal murders, which set off a type of panic across the state. Officials were put on high notice and given special security while the initial investigation continued. Once the search warrant for the Williams' home was executed, police believed they had their murderer.

Eric Williams was fired from his position last year after reportedly stealing three computer monitors from work. Hasse and McLelland were the prosecutors in the case, and it's believed that Williams held a grudge against the two men and planned his revenge.

If found guilty of capital murder, the Williams could face the death penalty. However, it is likely that Kim Williams was given a plea deal in an arrangement for testimony about her husband's actions.
