The Kindle Voyage currently holds the title of being Amazon's thinnest and lightest e-reader at 7.6mm thick and 180 grams, and it has a 6-inch screen.

It features Amazon's distinctive Paperwhite 300ppi display, which is the highest resolution, highest brightness, and highest contrast of any Kindle that exists. The glass is micro etched to mimic the feel of paper and reduce glare. The Voyage is a touchscreen, but it also features another way to turn the pages called PagePress. To activate, one merely rests a thumb on the bezel and turn the page by lightly pressing.

It also has an adaptive front light which automatically adjusts the brightness of the display based on the light of one's surroundings. The Kindle Voyage is priced at $269.

Kobo Aura H2O:

If the Kindle Voyage is for serious readers, the Kobo Aura H2O is highly recommended for people who like to have fun and take their reading material everywhere they go, like in the bath, for instance. This e-reader is waterproof and dustproof, and can be taken to the tub, to the pool or the beach without worrying about little splashes. It can be submerged for up to 30 minutes.

The Aura H2O has a slightly larger screen at 6.8 inches, and has a resolution of 300ppi. It has a light that emits an even glow, and one can adjust the brightness by sliding a finger up and down along the left side of the touch screen. The Kobo Aura H2O is priced at $245.
