The Taipei Game Show 2016 is an annual video game expo in Taipei, Taiwan. The show runs from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2, 2016.

SNK Playmore's presence in the show is another great opportunity for those interested in "King of Fighters XIV' to know more about it and experience the fighting game firsthand. SNK Playmore previously revealed its first playable demo during Sony's PlayStation Experience held earlier last month in San Francisco.

The demo could reveal more playable fighters, according to WCCFTech. Previously confirmed characters include Billy Kane, Ralf Jones, King, Angel, Kula Diamond, Andy Bogard, Leona Heidern, Chang Koehan, Iori Yagami, and Kyo Kusanagi. "King of Fighters XIV" will come with 50 characters, all of which will be playable at launch, battle director Yasuyuki Oda told Famitsu (via Siliconera).

Whether SNK Playmore will be making any major announcements at the show, however, remains to be seen.

Other video game companies that will be present at the Taipei Game Show 2016 include Capcom with its "Street Fighter V," Koei Tecmo with its "Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball 3 Fortune" and "Jin Ji Giants," Ubisoft with "Far Cry Primal," Square Enix with "Star Ocean 5" and "Dragon Quest Builders," and more. Sony will be at the show with half a dozen games including "Ratchet and Clark" and "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."

"King of Fighters" is expected to release this year as a Sony PlayStation exclusive title.
