'Kingdom Hearts 3' News and Rumors: Pre-order Sale a Big Fraud; When is the Real Release Date?
EB Games Australia dismissed the reports that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be available for Nintendo NX sometime next year. The KH3-Nintendo connection stemmed from a screenshot allegedly from EB Games that advertises the game up for pre-sale.

Apparently, Nintendo gamers became excited with the possibility of an NX release. "Kingdom Hearts 3" or any previous versions did not make it to Nintendo consoles. Recent outings are limited to PlayStation or Xbox consoles only with no immediate information about any expansion.

When the advertising screenshot surfaced, gamers took it as a signal that KH3 is still beating, but to the dismay of gaming world, EB Games denied that they posted such adverts. The issue is further set into closure when a fan asked via Twitter the Australian titles distributor. EB answered that they are not selling any Nintendo NX edition of KH3. They also added that the screenshot might be a simple Photoshop produce.
What is the real score behind 'Kingdom Hearts 3'?
KH3 talks began in 2013 during the annual gaming event E3. Developer Square Enix and Disney Interactive Studios then disclosed several features for KH3 to be similar to prequel "Kingdom Hearts 2." The new title seemed to be solid then because Enix even made partial exposition of the game engine.
The KH3 rumor was revived in the recently concluded Gamescom 2016. But while it is already sure that such title is under development, Square Enix presented a pre-final version called "Kingdom Hearts 2.8."
Director Tetsuya Nomura said that KH2.8 is a bridge storyline for the mainframe KH3. Fans showed more interest in KH3 instead but Nomura refused to disclose any information. Shying away from questions, he spoon-fed the KH2.8 instead.
So when is 'Kingdom Hearts 3' going to be released?
Considering that even the director and developer of the game are silent about release date, no accurate guess can be made. Then granting that there is 2.8 that has a TBD mark on release date, it is logical that KH3 will never be on shops shelves until late 2017.
Regadng the console, it is very clear that KH3 is a straightforward PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game. There is no concrete evidence to suspect a negotiation between Square Enix and Nintendto as well to warrant the NX spillover.
