'Kingdom Hearts 3': When Will New Info Drop for the Game?

'Kingdom Hearts 3' not expected to be released anytime soon

Fans are still seeking new details about "Kingdom Hearts 3," as it's been a while since they last received a proper update for it. But should they expect those coveted bits of information to be shared anytime soon?

Even though developers have yet to confirm any specific day for when they may talk about the elusive sequel next, there are some dates on the calendar that could serve as ideal ones for information drops.

First off, the upcoming anniversary of the original game's release could be one fans may want to keep an eye on.

As iDigitalTimes pointed out, March 28, 2017 will mark the 15th anniversary of the original game's initial release in Japan, an important date for the franchise and one seemingly deserving of at least some kind of update.

At the very least, developers will likely acknowledge this special day, though whether they make it extra important by releasing any new information about the still in-development sequel is something fans will just have to find out more about later on.

One more date fans may want to keep an eye on as they wait for new "Kingdom Hearts 3" details is June 17.

Noted in a recent report from Kingdom Hearts Insider, the new "Kingdom Hearts III BRING ARTS Sora" figure is scheduled to be released in Japan on June 17. It's possible that developers will attempt to build anticipation around the arrival of this new product by also teasing additional information for the sequel on that day.

As always, "Kingdom Hearts" fans should also pay attention to the major gaming events on the calendar such as E3 in June or even the Tokyo Game Show in September.

Given how little fans still know about this game, they would probably settle for just hearing more about its new features, though some of them are likely still hoping that an official release date for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be shared soon.
