Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Remains PS3 Exclusive, No Word on PS4, Xbox One Release
Square Enix has been pretty busy with the development of three games, "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX," "Kingdom Hearts III," and "Final Fantasy XV."
Before the year ends, however, the company will be releasing the Kingdom Hearts compilation. Japan will be getting the game first on Oct. 2, with the U.S. to get the game on Dec. 2, and Europe getting theirs by Dec. 5.
There are still no announcements from Square Enix on whether they will create a release for the Playstation 4 as well as for the Xbox One.

The game will be a collection of three games, all remastered exclusively for the Playstation 3 – "Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix," "Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix," and "Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded."
The first two titles included in the collection will be full games, all fully remastered and improved for the Playstation 3. The last one, "Re:Coded" will be a cinematic retelling of the story. Additional scenes will be included in the cinematics as well as newly recorded voice acting.
Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura says that two out of three hours of the cinematics will be totally new content, from the animations, to the voice acting, up to the new scenes that serve as fillers for the background stories.
There is also the inclusion of a new battle scene and an additional event which will tie "Re:Coded" and "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance" together.
The remastered 2.5 release of the Kingdom Hearts franchise is similar to the remastered 1.5 release where two of the three titles were full games while the third was a cinematic collection.
