'Konohana Kitan' Episode 2 Spoilers: A Young Fox-Girl's Life Begins to Bloom at the Konohanatei in New Slice-of-Life Anime Series

A new chapter in Yuzu's life has just begun on the Japanese slice-of-life anime series, "Konohana Kitan." What new life lessons and skills will the young fox-girl learn as he starts working at the Konohanatei?

Having spent most of her life in the mountains with her human guardian, Bikuni, Yuzu's first day out in the city is an experience that has immensely amazed the fox-girl and is one memory that she will not soon forget.

But as is the case in any other workplace, life at the Konohanatei goes far beyond the initial excitement. Aside from the fact that Yuzu now has to get used to her new environment and learn to interact properly with both the guests and her co-employees, it seems that Yuzu also has to find a good balance between her enthusiasm and her tasks.

After Yuzu was assigned by the head attendant Kiri to clean the floors, the fox-girl ended up overpolishing them and thus causing one of the inn's guests to slip. It was a good thing that the guest took this as a form of playfulness and was not at all upset about it.

However, could all guests be just as understanding as him, or is Yuzu about to meet someone who may not be able to tolerate her clumsy personality down the line?

The preview for the next episode, titled "Spring Journey," hints at more interactions between Yuzu and her fellow employees, who are making quite an impression on her just as she is also making an impression on them.

Yuzu's life in Konohanatei has only just begun and there are a lot more stories and adventures to look forward to as the series progresses.

"Konohana Kitan" airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. JST on AT-X and at midnight JST on Tokyo MX. It also airs on Thursdays at midnight JST on BS11 and late night at 2:25 a.m. JST on Kansai TV.
