'Konohana Kitan' Episode 6 Spoilers: Konohanatei Staff to Engage in Scary Storytelling?
Konohanatei's staff continues to inspire guests on the Japanese slice-of-life anime series, "Konohana Kitan." Also, it seems that a new character may well be staying at the inn for a while.
The previous episode saw a cursed doll get taken to the Konohanatei because nobody else wanted her and all she could really do was speak, move, and grow he hair. The doll's name is Okiku, and after she was given a make-over, which turned her dark long hair into a purple-colored one with pigtails, she spent most of the episode helping out in line with her new task as the inn's maid.
The second half of the episode then saw Yuzu and Okiku meeting a girl who was so focused on weaving that she has barely been eating her meals. Yuzu talked her into eating and sleeping properly, and the girl was eventually able to finish her masterpiece in the end, which turned out to be a rainbow.

Yuzu will continue to inspire more guests and her co-workers at the Konohanatei, but perhaps not in the upcoming episode titled, "Konohanatei Horror Stories." The preview for the said episode shows the staff gathering together to tell each other scary stories of old.
What could have driven them to do this in the dark? What stories will they be telling each other and how can this possibly affect their subsequent service to their guest? Will Okiku, who used to be able to scare children just by walking down dark hallways, be able to put her skills to good use once more?
It is also interesting to note that the episode title makes use of the Japanese word kaidan, which, according to Hyaku Monogatari, more accurately refers to strange, weird, and mysterious stories that are not always intended to scare people.
"Konohana Kitan" airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. JST on AT-X and at midnight JST on Tokyo MX. It also airs on Thursdays at midnight JST on BS11 and late night at 2:25 a.m. JST on Kansai TV.
