Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Wedding Rumors 'False,' Says Source

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are not engaged, despite reports claiming they are planning a wedding.

The reality TV couple have been subject to engagement rumors for several years and on Thursday a U.S. tabloid claimed Kardashian, 34, and Disick, 30, were planning to wed in Mexico. A source claimed that the recent passing of Disick's parents made Kardashian view their relationship differently, however, the engagement report was recently dismissed by an "insider," according to GossipCop.com.

Kardashian has previously been open about not wanting to marry Disick, with whom she shares two children.

"I definitely don't want to get married just for the sake of getting married. This is my life. I don't need a piece of paper to make it a family unit," she once said on her family's E! Reality TV show. "I don't want to get married right now [and] I don't have to listen to my mom or anyone else!"

Disick, who has been dating the E! Star for seven years, appeared to share the same sentiments during an interview last year.

"I think if it's not broke, don't fix it. You know what I mean?" Disick told E! producer Ryan Seacrest.

While Kardashian and Disick do not intend to tie the knot anytime soon, her sister Kim recently announced her wedding date.

The mother of one is set to wed her fiance Kanye West in a televised ceremony in Paris on May 24, according to reports.

"We're having a super, super small, intimate wedding. As we go along, we're realizing we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking," Kim told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show on Feb. 25.
