Kourtney Kardashian Cancels Engagement After Affair?

There is more marital trouble in the Kardashian household, as oldest sister Kourtney reportedly called off her engagement to the father of her son, Scott Disick recently.

Kourtney reportedly ended their relationship amid claims of an affair. Disick allegedly cheated on Kourtney with another reality television star, Kristin Cavallari.

A source close to the family told Life and Style magazine about the affair.

"While Kourtney and Scott were on a break, Scott hooked up with Kristin. Actually, Scott and Kristin were hooking up on and off for a year, maybe even two,” the source said. “When Kourt and Scott would fight, he'd party with Kristin and hook up."

When Kourtney heard that Kristin Cavallari would join the DWTS cast, Disick was not allowed on the show to support Rob Kardashian.

"Scott and Kourtney argued about Kristin," a friend confirms. "Kourtney can't stand her now and didn't want Scott at show tapings."

The drama with the Kardashians, namely Kim, has led to public backlash. As a result, many are petitioning for E! network to end the popular Kardashian reality television shows.

Although various campaigns to eliminate Kardashian programming have circulated the web, one that began on Nov. 2 and is targeting E! network has gained 51,064 signatures.

The petition addressed to E! online read, “ We are respectfully requesting that your network find other shows to Air. Keeping up with the Kardashians is just not viewing that we the public, would like to see from your network. Enough is enough.”

Cyndy Snider organized one complaint on GoPetition.com, where thousands of people have signed on to eliminate Kardashian programming.

"In a grass roots effort, we have collected [thousands of] signatures for a petition asking E! Entertainment to remove the Kardashian suite of shows from their programming," Snider said in a statement, according to Yahoo! TV reports. "We feel that these shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption."
