Kourtney Kardashian Celebrates Baby Shower Ahead of Televised Wedding

Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her second wedding shower on May 12 in Beverly Hills just two weeks after she and boyfriend Scott Disick reportedly signed a $1 million deal with the E! network to film their wedding nuptials in Mexico.

Kardashian, who is expecting the couple's second child, had roughly 100 guests at the lavish event which was hosted by her mother, Kris Jenner, according to Life & Style magazine.

"Kourtney's shower was so nice! Her mom and sisters were there, of course. They talked, laughed, and played games. There was a bar and lots of different types of foods and desserts, including sushi and little sandwiches. She seemed happy and excited earlier in the day before the shower. Her son, Mason, was there, too," a source told Life & Style.

"The theme was all pink and whites. Petals LA did the floral arrangements. Flowers were blush-pink peonies, pink Dutch hydrangeas and garden sweet peas in pink-and-fuchsia containers. Lehr & Black did Kourtney's shower invitations ... they were beautiful!" the insider added.

The 33-year-old reality TV personality is expected to give birth around July 1, after which she and Disick will proceed with their televised wedding.

"They signed a $1 million deal with E! to get married on TV," a source told In Touch Magazine.

The couple of five years are reportedly having their wedding at a private estate in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico which is owned by their good friend Joe Francis.

"Kourtney has always considered Joe's home a place where she can really relax," the insider said.

The event could mimic her sister Kim's lavish wedding with Kris Humphries, which was filmed for the E! network on August 20.

Disick was noticeably absent from Kardashian's baby shower as he was reportedly in Atlantic City, N.J., where he had to host at The Pool at Harrah's Resort that same day.
