Kourtney Kardashian Sued Over Mason Paternity Scandal? Man Demands DNA Test
Kourtney Kardashian has been threatened by a Los Angeles-based model over questions surrounding her son Mason Disick's paternity.
Michael Gergenti, who allegedly worked with Kardashian on a 944 magazine photo shoot in 2008, is demanding that the reality TV star get a DNA test to determine who Mason's biological father is, otherwise he will sue.
The 26-year-old Chicago native claims to have had a tryst with Kardashian, 34, nine months prior to Mason's 2009 birth and he recently sent her a letter outlining his request.
"This is Kourtney's last chance. My next step will be to take her to court and sue her for a paternity test. I'm tired of not knowing if Mason is my child, and I want the constant wondering to end," Gergenti told Star magazine.
"My attentions [sic] are not to hurt the family you've created with Scott (Disick). But at the same time, Mason deserves to know the truth," he explained.
Gergenti says he went public with his paternity claims simply because he has not been able to reach Kardashian. She maintains that her long term boyfriend Scott Disick is Mason's biological father.
"I tried to contact Kourtney via BlackBerry Messenger, with no response," he revealed. "I also made an attempt to reach her through the media, with no luck, but kept thinking that eventually the truth would come out."
Kardashian, who also shares a 10-month-old baby girl Penelope with Disick, previously denied Gergenti's claims through her attorney.
"They did not exchange contact information. Since the August 20, 2008, on-set photo shoot, Kourtney never spoke with him, saw him nor met him again," Kardashian's attorney told In Touch magazine.
"Kourtney has never been alone with him, and Kourtney certainly has never physically/intimately been with Mr. Gergenti," he went on, describing Gergenti's claims as a "preposterous and an outrageous lie."
Gergenti hopes that going public will "finally push them into taking the DNA test."
"I would definitely want to acknowledge Mason if he's my kid," he said. "He deserves to know his real father."
