Kris Humphries Calls FBI Over Kardashian Look-a-like Myla Sinanaj's Threats
Kris Humphries' attorneys reportedly contacted that FBI after a woman claiming to be the NBA star's ex-girlfriend tried to extort him.
Myla Sinanaj, who has been dubbed a Kim Kardashian look-a-like by various media outlets, is believed to have demanded a large sum of money from Humphries in order to stay quiet about their alleged relationship, according to TMZ.
Humphries is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with Kardashian, his estranged wife, and critics suspect that a relationship with Sinanaj could harm his fraud claims in court.
The 28-year-old reportedly had a fling with Sinanaj and offered her an unspecified sum to stay quiet about their relations.
She allegedly requested a much higher sum to stay quiet and threatened to "ruin" Humphries if he did not adhere to her demands, which prompted his attorneys to contact the FBI.
"Myla and Kris are absolutely not in a relationship. Have they hooked up? Absolutely, and she was pressuring Kris for a commitment, but he has been very honest with her that there was no way that was going to happen," a source close to the situation told Radar Online.
"Kris is very much enjoying being single and any girl that claims she is dating him exclusively is lying," the insider added.
Humphries was recently photographed on vacation with Sinanaj which sparked rumors that the pair was in a serious relationship. His attorney, Lee Hutton, reportedly tried to contact Sinanaj after it was reported that she was the one making false claims about their alleged relationship.
"Kris' attorney called and left messages for Myla on Thursday afternoon. Lee conveyed that he needs to speak to her immediately about the claims she is making regarding Kris' relationship with her," the source said.
"There are text messages between Kris and Myla which clearly prove that she is lying about being his girlfriend. Kris' lawyer has also drafted a cease and desist letter that he will be sending to Myla which will also order her to stop making these claims," the source went on, adding that "the timing of Myla making these claims is wreaking havoc on his upcoming divorce proceedings, because he will most certainly be asked about dating her during his upcoming deposition."
Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries on October 31, after just 72 days of marriage and while the 31-year-old reality TV personality is pushing for a divorce, Humphries is insisting on an annulment based on fraud.
The pair is scheduled to have their depositions at the end of June.
