Kris Humphries Using E! 'Production and Filming' to Prove Kim Kardashian Marriage Fraud?
Kris Humphries is reportedly standing by claims that Kim Kardashian married him under fraudulent pretenses and a new report reveals exactly how the NBA star allegedly intends to prove this.
Humphries, 28, reportedly believes that his 72-day marriage to Kardashian was a sham to boost publicity and generate revenue for the reality TV star, although she has consistently denied the allegations.
Kardashian, 31, infamously filed for divorce in 2011, however Humphries is insisting on an annulment based on fraud, and a source claims that the Nets star's plan to win is very "simple."
"Kris' case will be very simple and straightforward. He believes the key to proving that the marriage was fraudulent lies in the production and filming of the Kardashian reality shows," a source reportedly told RadarOnline.com.
"Kris says that just before filming began on the fourth season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, he started to have boxes of his belongings shipped from Minnesota to Kim's house in Los Angeles, ...she began freaking out...he was stunned by her reaction...he subsequently decided to stay in Minnesota longer than he had originally planned because of it," the source continued.
Humphries was featured on the special E! Reality TV show "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event," which aired a special of the pair's over-the-top lavish nuptials. The reality TV star, who is now expecting a child with rapper Kanye West, reportedly raked in $17.9 million through filming and allegedly by selling photo rights to People magazine, according to the New York Post.
"[Kris] claims, a short time later, Kim began to bombard him with text messages and phone calls ordering him to come back to New York and be with her because filming was about to start. Kris says he couldn't believe it….here was his new wife losing her mind because he was having stuff sent to her house in California, but then she has no problem pressuring him to return to NYC for the show!" the source explained.
By the season's end of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," Kardashian was seen sobbing hysterically to her sister Kourtney while explaining that she wanted a divorce from Humphries, who at the time had been her husband for just over two months.
Kardashian is reportedly furious over claims that she married Humphries for publicity and money. She is said to be desperately urging her attorneys to finalize their divorce, but a source claims that the NBA star is pushing even harder to instead get an annulment based on fraud.
"The only way that this case won't go to trial is if Kim publicly apologizes to Kris and admits that she only married him for television ratings. Kris just wants the truth to come out and Kim is just absolutely livid that she isn't getting her own way," a separate source previously told Radar Online.
