Kris Jenner Brokered Kim Kardashian Sex Tape Sale?
Mother Denies Accusations
Kris Jenner is likely to receive further criticism over her parenting methods following a new report which suggests that she played a role in the sale of her daughter Kim Kardashian's infamous tape.
The 56-year-old is often faced with accusations about exploiting her children which recently prompted renowned talk show host Oprah Winfrey to ask the mother of six whether she is guilty of "pimping" her kids during a recent interview. Although Jenner denied the accusations, new reports claim that she is in fact guilty of exploitation.
"Kris was totally involved in arranging the sale of Kim's tape," a source told Star magazine regarding Kardashian's homemade video.
"The video already existed, and Kris was there every step of the way as a middleman brought in to market it to an adult entertainment company," the insider went on.
Kardashian, 31, rose to stardom following the release of the tape, which featured her ex-boyfriend Ray-J. Her sister Khloe recently lashed out at claims that Jenner was involved in the tape's release, and targeted Kardashian's estranged husband Kris Humphries, who she suspected started the rumors.
"That is just disgusting and disturbing, and probably HIS fantasy!" Khloe blasted when approached by TMZ.com.
Jenner's husband, Bruce, said that the release of Kardashian's infamous tape was disappointing and difficult for the family to deal with.
"Extraordinarily disappointed, to say the least. [Kim] got sold out. It was one of the more difficult things like you can through. You've got to realize, and any parent will know, that every kid makes mistakes. I've made mistakes. It's how you deal with those things. You've got to learn from those things," Bruce said during the interview, which aired on "Oprah's Next Chapter."
Jenner, who along with her children stars in the family's various E! reality TV shows, was also recently accused of trying to exploit her eldest daughter Kourtney's newborn daughter Penelope Scotland.
Kourtney, who gave birth in early July, was said to be furious after learning about various business deals that her mother allegedly made behind her back to make money off of her child even before Penelope was born.
"Kris immediately started trying to make money off the baby, literally from the moment she was conceived! Kourtney was already getting annoyed during her pregnancy because her mom talked nonstop about branding girly things for the baby. And since the birth Kris has stepped it up with her money making ideas," a source told RadarOnline.com.
Jenner was also accused of crafting the idea of Kardashian's 72-day marriage to Humphries, although she has repeatedly denied allegations that their lavish wedding was staged for financial gain.
