Kris Jenner Talks Beyonce and Jay Z's Absence From Kim and Kanye's Wedding: Were They in the Hamptons?
Kris Jenner recently attributed Beyonce and Jay Z's absence from Kim Kardashian's wedding to work even though the couple was photographed relaxing in the Hamptons.
The Kardashian matriarch was asked about the Hollywood power couple during a recent interview and she revealed that while they were unable to attend Kardashian's lavish wedding to Kanye West, they sent well wishes. Last month the reality TV star, 33, married the "Yeezus" rapper before 200 friends and family in Italy and while fans expected Beyonce and Jay Z to attend, they opted not to go.
"You know what? There was so much commotion and excitement, I never even gave that a second thought," Jenner told KIIS 106.5 FM Radio regarding Beyonce and Jay Z's wedding snub.

"I know they sent really nice wishes to Kanye and Kim and I just assumed they were working," she continued. "If you had been there you would have thought that was the last thing on anyone's mind."
Prior to Kardashian's May 24 wedding gossip sites claimed West had asked Jay Z to be his best man, which made the hip-hop mogul's absence even more surprising.
While Beyonce and her rapper husband did not attend the wedding in Florence, she took to Instagram last month to publicly congratulate Kardashian and West on their marriage. The touching gesture suggests there is no bad blood between the two couples.
"Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family," Beyonce captioned alongside a photograph of the West family.
The "Partition" singer, 32, shared a series of family photographs taken in the Hamptons around the time of Kardashian and West's big day. In one photo Beyonce is seen walking with her daughter Blue Ivy at a stunning Hamptons home and in another she and Jay Z are seen riding bikes.
"They weren't sure about all of the media attention and it possibly being filmed for the show [KUWTK], but after the fight with Rachel at the Met, they decided to lay low," a source told HollywoodLife.com adding, "Bey and Jay are working on their marriage."
Beyonce and Jay Z are currently gearing up for the upcoming "On The Run" tour which kicks off later this month.
