Kristen Bell Baby 'Intoxicating,' Actress Relishing Motherhood

Kristen Bell is the latest Hollywood starlet to embrace motherhood and the actress is gushing about her daughter Lincoln.

The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star welcomed her first child with fiancé Dax Shepherd in late March, and discussed baby Lincoln at Disney's D23 Expo over the weekend.

"I love [motherhood,] she's absolutely intoxicating," the 33-year-old enthused, according to Us Weekly.

Bell was promoting "Frozen," Disney's upcoming animated movie in which she offered her voice to Princess Anna.

As a "huge" Disney fan, Bell said she hopes Lincoln shares her sentiments as well as "Frozen."

"I hope she likes it! Just my luck she'll hate cartoons or something," the actress joked, according to the magazine. "I feel so lucky to get to pass this down to her one day."

Meanwhile, Bell has not avoided discussing the challenges of motherhood in past interviews, including her attitude about losing weight following her pregnancy. The actress made a point to ignore the pressure to lose weight and decided to ease back into her pre-baby weight; a number she said she still has not reached today.

"I'm proud to sit out the baby weight rat race," Bell posted to her Twitter followers recently.

"I like my Lincoln leftovers because they're proof I did something extraordinary," she added. "I gave life to my new BFF & she gave me a comical amount of midsection skin."

Furthermore, the new mom graced the latest cover of Redbook magazine in which she discussed her baby weight at greater length.

According to her own estimations, Bell is still 15 pounds heavier than before her pregnancy, but has already lost weight by breastfeeding, low-impact workouts, and eating more fruits and vegetables.

As for the rest of the weight, Bell said she refuses to "make myself miserable for the rest of my life trying to get back to where I was before."

"I'm going to continue working out and see where it goes," said the star. "I'd like to get back down to where I was before the baby… but if this is where my body wants to be, so be it."

Also, following her daughter's arrival, Bell headed to work as Veronica Mars on the film adaptation of the popular television series. During San Diego's Comic Con last month, the actress explained the challenges of being on the set of "Veronica Mars."

"It was hard because I always wanted to be with the baby a ton," said Bell, according to Us Weekly. "But also, I was so excited to be with my friends again. It's almost too much joy, if that's possible."

"Veronica Mars" the movie will also star Ryan Hansen, Chris Lowell, Francis Capra and Jason Dohring, among others. The film is scheduled for release sometime in early 2014.
