Kristen Bell Enjoys Beach Vacation With Dax Shepherd

Kristen Bell and husband Dax Shepherd were spotted on the beach enjoying a Hawaiian vacation together this week.

The pair have been together since 2007, and after a three-year engagement as well as the arrival of their first child, Bell and Shepherd married in a courthouse ceremony on Oct. 17. The actors are parents to a daughter, Lincoln, who turns one on March 28.

Today, the family is soaking up the sun in Maui, Hawaii, according to the Daily Mail. The beach vacation arrives after a busy year for the couple- in addition to the arrival of their daughter, Bell was the lead voice in the Oscar-winning hit Disney film "Frozen," and she also starred in and executive produced the "Veronica Mars" movie. Alternately, Shepherd stars on NBC's "Parenthood" and has two films coming out this year, "The Judge" and "This Is Where I Leave You."

Late last year, Bell sat down with The Christian Post where she discussed "Frozen" as well as her marriage. When asked about the kinds of romantic thing Shepherd does for her, Bell said the answer is limitless.

"It's literally me choosing one of a thousand things he's done this week," the actress said at the time. "He's a real good guy."

Then, citing a specific example, the "Frozen" star said that Shepherd had helped her get to the airport with their infant daughter in the wee hours that morning.

"When we were getting out of the house this morning to come to New York … I brought the baby," Bell explained. "There's a lot think about, I can't just be in jammies. I am doing press and have to make sure [clothes are] ironed. [Dax] got up with me at 5:30 in the morning and packed the car and went back to bed after we left. But he had gotten up to make sure that his girls were taken care of, that's pretty romantic."
