Kristen Bell Talks 'Frozen' Sequel: 'I Would Play Anna Forever'

Kristen Bell has expressed her love for "Frozen," and says she's all geared up for the sequel.

"Frozen" actress Kristen Bell, who plays Anna, is looking forward to being part of the sequel to Disney's Academy award-winning and highest grossing animated film in history.

Disney announced "Frozen 2" a little over a week ago after it released a short film, "Frozen Fever," featuring Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf preparing a birthday party for Anna. The second movie is currently in development at the Disney Animation Studios after the unprecedented success of the first animated movie spurred studio executives to decide on the sequel.

With the first film grossing $1.2 billion since it premiered in November 2013, Disney is looking forward to another big payday when "Frozen 2" hits theaters at a still unannounced date.

Bell had earlier been quoted as saying she was hoping there would be a sequel just hours after Disney officially announced the second film was in the pipeline.

"I would play Anna forever if they would let me," she told CBS News. "Always and forever want to build a snowman."

She also shared her exhilaration on social media, posting "Dreams really do come 2!!!" #FROZEN2 #itsofficial" on her Twitter feed.

Bell, 34, has also expressed how much she adored playing Anna, but also enjoyed the time she spent with the production team, calling them "talented and super kind."

The same production team from the first film was behind "Frozen Fever," writing the music for the short's film's song, and are likely going to be tapped for the sequel's production, as well.

The sequel, when it is released, will be Disney's first sequel as an individual entity, not counting the franchises it has spawned with Pixar.
