Kristen Stewart: It's Not Terrible To Be Hated

Kristen Stewart, the 23-year-old actress, says she doesn't mind being hated but is still apologizing for past indiscretions that went public and may have angered some fans.

Although Stewart reportedly had an affair with 42-year-old married film director Rupert Sanders while dating 27-year-old "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson last year, the actress did did not seem fazed by those who hated her for it recently. Still, she apologized for the anger that her actions may have caused some people to feel.

"It's not a terrible thing if you're either loved or hated. But honestly, I don't care 'cause it doesn't keep me from doing my (expletive)," Stewart said in a PerezHilton.com report. "And I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention."

Pattinson and Stewart reportedly ended their relationship last May, after trying to publicly keep their romantic union in tact following the scandal with the married film director. Stewart first released a public statement apologizing for how her actions impacted Pattinson last year.

"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob," Stewart's previously stated publicly. "I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

Still the actress has not always been too keen on discussing the ordeal in interviews.

"People are just going to write the movie version of your life and consume it the way they please. I get the inclination to be entertained by that as well, so go for it. Have at it. Take it. Take it," Stewart previously told The Los Angeles Times. "But you knew nothing about my relationship before. You know less now. How could you?"

The actress seemed to echo the same sentiments in a previous "Today" show interview.

"I'm going to just let people watch whatever little movie they think our lives are," the actress said on the television show.
