Kristen Stewart, Rob Pattinson Enter Couples Therapy?
Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson have reportedly entered couples therapy amid rumors that the pair has now reconciled.
The couple, who is reportedly in talks about marriage following Stewart's recent cheating scandal, sat down with "Twilight" producers to discuss the "potentially awkward promotion" of "Breaking Dawn: Part 2," according to OK! magazine.
Pattinson, 26, was understandably left heartbroken after Stewart, his 22-year-old girlfriend of three years, who publicly admitted to cheating on him with her "Snow White and The Huntsman" Director Rupert Sanders, 41. The actress, however, recently hinted at a reconciliation with Pattinson while at the Toronto Film Festival on Sept 8.
Stewart was asked whether working with Pattinson would be awkward, as the pair is scheduled to promote the latest "Twilight" saga in coming weeks.
"We're going to be fine," Stewart recently assured the Associated Press.
Pattinson, who has not yet spoken publicly about the cheating scandal, had reportedly moved out of their Los Angeles home after Stewart's public admission. He has now allegedly proposed marriage as a reconciliation ultimatum just two months after the explosive cheating scandal was exposed.
"Rob told Kristen the only way he can forgive her affair is if she truly commits to him. Rob has been keen to marry Kristen for quite a while and he doesn't want to get back with her unless he knows she means it for life too," a source reportedly told The Daily Star.
"He is desperate to make it work and wants to give her another chance but not unless she proves she really wants it too," the alleged insider added.
Stewart, who first met Pattinson in 2008 on the set of "Twilight," released a public apology immediately after photos of her tryst with Sanders, a married father of two, were made public by Us Weekly magazine. In it, the actress professed her love for Pattinson and recent reports suggest that she had begged him to take her back for several weeks before he finally agreed to reunite and begin living with her again.
"They pretty much decided they couldn't live without each other. Kristen poured her heart out to Robert and told him it was a one-off and a mistake," a source told The Sun U.K. "Rob sees it as Kristen made a really stupid mistake. After a lot of long tearful talks, they've worked it out. Rob can see how truly sorry Kristen is and has totally forgiven her. They really do love each other."
