Kristen Stewart Wedding, Baby Demands Were 'Too Much' for Robert Pattinson?
Kristen Stewart was reportedly pressuring Robert Pattinson for marriage and a baby prior to their abrupt split.
On May 19, Pattinson, 27, was photographed moving out of Stewart's Los Feliz home days after it was claimed the pair had parted ways. A new report suggests that Stewart, who admitted to cheating on the actor in July 2012, ultimately may have pushed Pattinson away.
"Kristen wanted to go straight back to where they'd been before they first split up [in July 2012] and pushed Rob really hard on it," a source told OK! magazine.
"She wanted the whole package: the house, the wedding and even the baby. It was all way too much for Rob to handle," the source went on.
In April, just weeks after celebrating her 23rd birthday, Stewart reportedly began discussing her desire for marriage with Pattinson to close friends. Sources claim that at that time the "Twilight" actress was optimistic about her future with the British actor.
"Rob and I will get married," a source quoted Stewart as telling friends, according to British magazine Grazia.
Pattinson, who first began dating Stewart in 2008, allegedly did not feel the same way. Various reports claim that while the actor cared about Stewart, he always struggled to move past her affair with "Snow White and The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.
"Through the years, Kristen definitely became too dependent on Rob saving the day and taking her back," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
"He felt like an adult taking care of a child," the source explained adding that since their split "He's glad to only have to be in charge of himself… He thinks she has a lot of growing up to do."
On May 13 Pattinson was reportedly spotted celebrating his birthday without Stewart. A source claims that just days prior the actor asked her for space.
"Rob asked for space and it sent her over the edge. She told him if he wanted a break, it would be permanent," the alleged insider said.
