Kutcher $290 Million Court Battle Sparked Following Failed Kaballah Counseling
Sources recently revealed that Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore made a last-ditch attempt to reconcile over the weekend at a friend’s “Kabbalah house”, but it was not enough to save the marriage. The ex-couple will now reportedly fight out a $290 million divorce settlement.
The couple announced their separation on Thursday of last week, ending a six-year marriage that was hailed as one of the most stable in Hollywood before allegations that Kutcher cheated on his wife emerged.
Kutcher and Moore had also tried a “Kabbalah retreat” earlier in October according to the Daily Mail, where they went out camping with a few friends at Cachuma Lake near Santa Barbara, California. Despite their attempts to get back on the right track, however, the revelation that Kutcher slept with a 22-year old woman on the sixth anniversary of his marriage to Moore might have been too much for the 49-year-old actress to handle.
Another widely reported rumor for their split was also the alleged open relationship they were in. The couple was apparently ok with each other seeing other people, though had managed to keep their alternate lifestyle hidden from the tabloids for the most part. Now that the media have gotten stories that suggest these claims are true, the public scrutiny might have placed extra strain on their relationship.
The visit to their friend’s Beverly Hills Kabbalah house might have been the very last attempt to talk things out and arrive to some kind of resolution, but the MBJ Star shared that after an hour of talking at the place, they each left in separate cars looking glum.
It seems that all that is left for them to do now is decide how their vast fortune, which is estimated to be around $290 million, is going to be divided. The couple can expect a very lengthy court battle if they do not reach a decision on their own.
