Kyle Richards to Quit 'Real Housewives' Over Husband Cheating Claims?

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards reportedly threatened to quit the hit reality TV show amid claims that she feels targeted by her co-stars.

Brandi Glanville, Lisa Vanderpump and Yolanda Foster allegedly banded together while filming season four to confront Richards over reports of an alleged extramarital affair involving her husband Mauricio Umansky and another woman. Richards reportedly felt blindsided by her co-stars and threatened to quit the show.

"[Kyle was] so upset and disgusted after the confrontation, that she called producers of the show, and told them she wanted out," a source told RadarOnline.com.

Richards is contractually obligated to participate in season four filming "but this will most likely be her last one. She doesn't want her family to come under attack for no reason because of the show," the insider explained.

In April, a Hollywood actress made explosive claims against Umansky, claiming the father of four admitted to being unfaithful in his 17-year marriage to Richards. Glanville, who has had problems with Richards in the past, allegedly fueled more cheating claims.

"Brandi maintained she had solid information to prove that Mauricio has been cheating on Kyle. Kyle became extremely upset, and refused to listen to the girls. She felt especially betrayed by Lisa because they had once been so close," the source said.

"She was particularly hurt by Lisa's actions because they once used to be such close friends. They no longer are, and Kyle had wanted to work on that friendship, and try to mend it … now, that seems impossible," the source continued, adding, "Kyle just can't understand why the girls can't come together and support each other."

While Bravo TV producers allegedly talked Richards out of quitting the show, he is said to be "extremely unhappy with how season four is unfolding."
