LA Dodgers vs New York Mets Preview, Live Stream Info (Game 1): How to Watch MLB Playoffs NLDS 2015
The LA Dodgers will host the New York Mets on Friday night in Game 1 of their National League Division Series. This MLB Playoffs 2015 series opener takes place from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California and has a start time of 9.45 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on TBS but can also be watched online through live stream (details below).
Tonight's pitching line up will feature the Mets' Jacob deGrom and the Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw as starters. They have both been excellent this season and should ensure fans get to see pitching of the highest quality in this NLDS Game 1.
DeGrom completed his first full season in the Major Leagues with a 14-8 record, a 2.54 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP through his 191 innings. Meanwhile, Kershaw has had a season of two halves; prior to May he seemed to be struggling and posted a record of 3-3 with a lowly 3.86 ERA.
However, since then he has found his top gear again and through the past few months has been undoubtedly one of the best pitchers in the league.
He finished the season with a 16-7 record, 2.13 ERA and an amazing 301 strikeouts.
The Dodgers have been questionable at times with their offense this season, but now welcome back Yasiel Puig who just about made the NLDS roster for Los Angeles.
Whether he will be fit enough to start Game 1 remains to be seen and a decision will be made in the hours ahead of the first pitch. If Puig does make the line up then it would certainly be a big boost for the Dodgers and may tilt the advantage to Los Angeles.
