The singer was reportedly hospitalized on Sept. 14 due to severe pain caused by the chronic pain disorder called fibromyalgia. This led her promoters Live Nation to announce on Sept. 18 that she had to postpone the European leg of her world tour because the physical pain had already affected her ability to perform.

In a lengthy post on social media, Gaga opened up about her mental and physical struggles in the past and her difficulty in seeking treatments, but she promised her fans that she will tell her story in the coming days.

"As I get stronger and when I feel ready, I will tell my story in more depth, and plan to take this on strongly so I can not only raise awareness, but expand research for others who suffer as I do, so I can help make a difference," the "Bad Romance" singer stated on Instagram.

She also clarified that she was not looking for attention or pity when she announced her disease and was sad when she saw some comments online suggesting that she was just being dramatic or making things up so she can halt her tour. According to the singer, those who really know her would understand that she never wanted to take a break from the tour.

"I am looking forward to touring again soon, but I have to be with my doctors right now so I can be strong and perform for you all for the next 60 years or more," Gaga also said.

Fans are expecting Gaga to announce the new tour dates for "Joanne" world tour in the coming days.
