Lady Gaga to Perform 'You and I' on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' in Hollywood
Lady Gaga will still perform on an outdoor stage for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Thursday night in Hollywood, regardless of the chaos caused by the impromptu block party the area saw the night before.
A spokesperson for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” said a section of Hawthorne Avenue behind the show’s studio will be closed while Gaga performs. Kimmel’s studio is next door to the El Capitan Theatre and practically across the street from the Grauman’s Chinese Theater, where yesterday’s block party was dismantled by police.
Free tickets to the performance have been distributed to fans, and for those that can’t make it, the concert will air live on ABC’s network. Gaga is expected to perform three to five songs, including her latest single “So You Think You Can Dance,” and possibly do a question and answer session with attending fans.

Lady Gaga is not the only artist the streets of Hollywood have been closed down for: Jay-Z, Coldplay, and Depeche Mode have also performed in cordoned-off streets.
Lady Gaga appeared on the television show “So You Think You Can Dance” a guest judge Wednesday night. The famously eccentric singer shed tears after watching a particularly moving dance performance. The dance sequence was performed by contender Marko Germer, who Gaga told, “There are so, so many things I did wrong when I was younger, and so many things that I wish I could take back, and I felt every moment of that through your dance tonight”.
The near-riot on Hollywood Boulevard occurred Wednesday after hundreds of people appeared at the premiere for a movie about the Electric Daisy Carnival. DJ Kaskade had advertised a block party on Twitter to take place afterward, at Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Trouble ensued when police shut down a section of the street. People refused to leave, began fighting, and throwing bottles causing damage to police cars. Two people were arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism.
