LaLa Anthony Slams Celtics' Jordan Crawford on Twitter, Calls Him 'Weak' (VIDEO)
LaLa Anthony took to Twitter Thursday to slam Celtics reserve guard Jordan Crawford after the NBA player made lewd references to her on the court. Crawford denied he made any comments to New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony about his wife, but the television personality did not believe him.
LaLa Anthony made it a point to address the incident via social media after trash talk occurred at the buzzer of the Celtics' 92-86 victory Wednesday. The series is now 3-2 in the Knicks favor, but Crawford was more concerned about the negative reactions he was getting for his alleged digs at LaLa.
"I would never talk trash about that mans Wife," Crawford wrote on Twitter. "I don't [know] him … All I did was respond!!"

"Try again. You on the bench for a reason," LaLa responded, adding a picture with the quote "Strong women only intimidate weak men."
Although it's tough to tell exactly what words were said on the court Wednesday, they definitely had an effect on the Knicks. After the buzzer rang, cameras captured Crawford cursing at the New York basketball players, with point guard Raymond Felton approaching the player and being restrained by teammates. Others like Tyson Chandler, D.J. White and Celtics Coach Doc Rivers also joined the fracas, but managed to diffuse the situation.
"Just some words," Felton told ESPN afterwards. "That's the game of basketball; it happens. You get in the playoffs, it gets intense sometimes. Just words, nothing serious."
Anthony also responded, taking his own pot shots at the reserve like his wife did.
"I'm not thinking about no Jordan Crawford … I'll tell you that. I don't even think he deserves for you to be typing his name right now," he said.
This wouldn't be the first time Celtics players have tried to get inside Carmelo Anthony's head through his wife. Boston Celtics star Kevin Garnett previous told Anthony that his wife "tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios," resulting in Anthony trying to fight him after the game.
Felton, though, believes that the trash talk and back-and-forth is just a distraction for the Knicks, which could help the Celtics become the first NBA team in history to come back from a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs.
"We know what [Crawford's] trying to do. He's trying to get us away from what we need to focus on the most and that's playing basketball," Felton told ESPN.
Game 6 of the Knicks-Celtics series is Friday at 7 p.m. EST.
