Lamar Odom Hires Life Coach; Has 'No Regrets' Despite Khloe Kardashian Divorce?
Lamar Odom is reportedly seeing a life coach in the wake of his divorce from Khloe Kardashian and insiders claim the NBA veteran has no regrets about the "mistakes" he made during their four-year marriage.
On Dec. 13 Kardashian, 29, filed for divorce from Odom, 34, five months after two women came forward accusing him of having extramarital affairs. The former Los Angeles Clippers star was also subject to drug addiction rumors which prompted the estranged couple's separation in August however he reportedly has no regrets about the choices he made.
"What's done has already been done and both he and Khloe have to live with the results of both their mistakes and choices," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
"There's not a blueprint for a perfect marriage. It's a continual journey and you make mistakes along the way," the source continued. "He's not the type of man who lives life regretting this and that and sweating the small stuff... it's his path and he's going to walk it the only way he knows how."
Odom never publicly addressed the cheating allegations and the drug use reports and he is said to be eager to move forward with his life without Kardashian. The pair wed in 2009 exactly one month after meeting.
The father-of-two is reportedly focused on making a return to the NBA and he has enlisted the help of a life coach to make these dreams a reality.
"He's taking a few sessions just to get his head right after all he's been through with Khloe and his life," an insider revealed.
"It's not for drug abuse or anything, it's more of a life therapist, someone who he talks to about where he is in his life, where he wants to be and how to get there," the source explained.
Kardashian recently spoke out in the wake of her divorce filing and she admitted that she is eager to have a "fresh start" following the breakdown of her marriage.
"I love the new year, new beginnings. I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with," Kardashian told Cosmopolitan UK.
"You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life," she explained.
