Lamar Odom Seeks Advice From Bruce Jenner; Working on NBA Comeback?

Lamar Odom has reportedly been seeking advice from his father-in-law Bruce Jenner in recent weeks, amid reports that his marriage to Khloe Kardashian is over.

The NBA veteran, 33, has recently spent hours with Jenner, 63, at his Malibu home on various occasions to discuss a number of "life issues" including his alleged battle with addiction, TMZ.com reported.

Odom and Kardashian, 29, reportedly separated in August in the wake of cheating rumors and drug addiction reports. The estranged couple has been married for four years.

Jenner, who recently announced his own separation from Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, has reportedly been a strong source of support for Odom during this difficult time.

"Everybody's got s--- in their life and they need to learn how to deal with it. Lamar didn't deal with his very well," Jenner was quoted as telling a friend – according to TMZ adding that he believes Odom is a genuinely "good soul."

The former Los Angeles Clippers star is said to be sober and working out constantly, as he is determined to return to the NBA. Despite Odom's reported commitment to long-term sobriety, Kardashian is reportedly ready to move on from Odom.

"Khloe doesn't know how they'll ever be a happy, married couple again," a source told People magazine. "She is very hurt that he's lied to her about being clean. And she's made it clear that he can't spend time with her family until he is."

On Nov. 5 Kris celebrated her 58th birthday and despite Kardashian and Odom's marital woes, the father-of-two was reportedly present for the event. A source claims the couple is working through their issues but still living apart.

Kris recently opened up about her daughter's emotional state in the wake of separation reports. The E! Star is said to be "sensitive" as she continues to deal with her strained marriage to Odom, but Jenner described her as bring "resilient" and "strong," according to E! News.

"She's very sensitive and she loves really hard and she feels with all of her soul," Jenner told E! News. "But she also has the ability to put that game face on and go out there in the world and do what she needs to do ... she is resilient but she is very strong."
