Lamar Odom's Children Join Kardashians as Former NBA Star Fights for His Life; Khloé Forced to Be in Charge of Ex's Medical Care
As Lamar Odom continues his fight for life, Khloé Kardashian has reportedly arranged for her ex-beau's children and father to be by his bedside.
According to People, the 31-year-old reality TV personality had Odom's two children from his former relationship with Liza Morales flown in to Nevada to have the kids be by their father's side at the hospital. Odom's father, Joe, was also flown in to Las Vegas.
Multiple outlets reported that Kardashian has stayed by Odom's side ever since he was taken to the hospital. The former Los Angeles Lakers basketball player was found unresponsive in a brothel in Las Vegas Tuesday night.
Aside from Odom's children and Kardashian rushing to his side as he remains on life support, the Kardashian-Jenner clan have also rallied behind him and have asked their fans to continue praying to the man Kris Jenner refers to as "our fighter."
Kim has reportedly postponed her baby shower due to the incident and the other family members have been spotted coming in and out of the hospital where Odom is being treated since Tuesday.
Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom in 2013 and the two signed divorce papers in July. However, no ruling has been made just yet to make the split official, which makes the two still legally wed. A source close to the family said Khloé is now forced to make medical decisions for her 35-year-old ex. "He never signed a living will, so Khloé is making decisions for him...she is lost," the source said.
Although the two have been in headlines for the past months due to their on-and-off communication and several rumors that Odom has been harassing Kardashian, the Kardashian-Jenner clan, who have stood behind Khloé all this time, dropped all the angst and bitterness to stay by Odom's side.
The position where Khloé is in at the moment, especially after doctors allegedly found traces of cocaine and opiates in Odom's system, is "very stressful" as she is now forced to be in charge of her ex's medical care, the insider said.
