'Last Man Standing' Season 5 Spoilers, Plot News: A Tornado and the Baxter Family
The fifth season of "Last Man Standing" is expected to test Mike Baxter on his principles and values.
It was reported that the premiere episode of the season will be titled "The Wolf Returns." With that, it will see Mike, played by Tim Allen, coming back from a road trip. His return will have him realizing the many changes that happened to his home and work.
As if that was not enough, it was reported that a tornado will be coming to town.

The synopsis for "The Wolf Return" stated, "Mike has returned from being on a fantastic two-month road trip traveling to far-flung places for Outdoor Man. It's great to be back with his wife, Vanessa, and their three daughters, but finds a lot has been going on at home as well as on the job since he's been away. To top it all off, a tornado is headed toward the Outdoor Man store and the Baxter home."
"Last Man Standing" is a series about a traditional American dad. He is currently the marketing director of an outdoor sporting goods store. He has a wife and three daughters, who overpower him in his own home.
Tim Allen recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly to share what fans can expect for the upcoming season. He explained that his vast experience in TV series have taught him many things about television.
He said, "Television being as it is, there's only so much we can do. We shoot on a live stage, so it's a very, very difficult format, but really wonderful to see in person. There's nothing like it. Home Improvement taught me that it's almost like a theatre play. We don't get to breathe too much … you've got to consider how these writers are able to get a beginning, middle, and end, the story arc, and a B story arc, all in 23 minutes. I've seen people go nuts, some film directors that got involved in this business and just said, "I don't even know how you do this." It's an acquired skill set."
"Last Man Standing" Season 5 will air on ABC every Friday.
