Last two 'Divergent' films finally get new names
The final two series of the film "Divergent" will finally have new names once they hit the big screen.
The last two Divergent movies have been previously dubbed "The Divergent Series: Allegiant – Part 1" and "The Divergent Series: Allegiant – Party 2." But now, the two final installments of the action film will be getting new titles, according to MTV.
In the previous Divergent film, Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) discovered that they were just part of an experiment to restore the post-apocalyptic Earth in which they reside. They could have easily crossed the wall surrounding the deserted land of Chicago any time, the report details.
The truth could only be exposed when Divergents, like Tris, emerge and mess up the orderly system of the community. Instead of having one distinct set of qualities like everyone else does, Divergents have a distinct set of multiple personality qualities.
The last two Divergent movies will be based on "Allegiant" by Veronica Roth. However, they will also include a few tweaks to make the story more interesting, such as Four's conflict with his parents, the report reveals.
Aside from the new titles, the final two Divergent films, which will mark the comeback of Insurgent director Robert Schwentke, also got new logos, IGN adds.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant will continue from where the last movie ended. The upcoming film will show Tris and Four embarking on a journey to find out what happened to the places beyond the Chicago wall, the report relays.
Tris and Four's journey will finally end with "The Divergent Series: Ascendant." The fourth installation will come with the tagline "The end is never what you expect." This could signal major changes in the fates of the movie's main characters, or it could also suggest a shocking ending.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant will be released on March 18, 2016 and The Divergent Series: Ascendant will premiere on March 24, 2017 to finally close Tris and Four's mission.
