Law and Order SVU Season 17 Episode 3 Spoilers; Plot Rumors - Next Episode Will Feature Transgender Teen
In the upcoming episode of "Law and Order SVU" entitled "Transgender Bridge" the official synopsis reads a transgender teen is teased and then injured by bullies, one of whom is tried as an adult when the case goes to the DA's office.
In the preview for the episode the show will tackle the hot topic of transgender issues when a transgender teen gets hurt after being pushed of the bridge by some teenage bullies. It seems that when the teenager is tried as an adult by the district attorney the team is not really sure if the punishment fits the crime and they must deal with the families involved.
The previous episode began with a beach scene where another body was found in the burial ground of the notorious serial killer Greg Yates. Sargent Olivia Benson looked at the body and said that there are two options its either they missed one or it's a copycat.
The medical examiner cannot say for sure that Yates killed the woman but the ME noted that the woman had the same trace of green nail polish on her hands just like the other victims of Yates. Detective Rollins payed Yates a visit in prison and showed him the picture of the victim. Yates said it was a copycat.
The victim was identified and it turned out she was a twin. Rollins went back to the prison with Fin in order to talk to Yates again. Yates said that the photo reminded him of something that happened when he was a senior resident. In the townhouse, the team found another dead body.
Susie the fiancé of Yates told them that she knew the victim that was found in the wall. The victim's name was Lena. It turned out that Lena's fiancé was Doctor Carl Rundrick the same medical examiner that did the autopsies on both bodies.
Another medical examiner named Warner immediately found errors in Rundrick's work. The team questioned Rundrick. Rundrick posted bail and was set free. Rundrick killed Susie and admitted his wrong doing when he talked to himself which was then recorded.
The episode ended with Rundrick and Yates as they sat down at the mess hall and talked.
