The family, known for their Christian outlook and values, were plagued with negative happenings such as the molestation accusation of Joshua.

It was reported that Joshua was also involved in the Ashley Madison Website, which was known for a way to lure married men into having affairs. Joshua reportedly had two accounts and had several hook-ups.

This was a big deal because it showed infidelity toward his wife. With that, "Law & Order" SVU" is expected to take on a story that is focused on a Christian family. The episode "Patrimonial Burden" will feature a fictional family who also became popular through a reality TV series.

However, the episode will feature the family issues that were not addressed in front of the camera. It was reported that the "Law & Order" team will become involved with the family when it was reported that their 13-year-old daughter had become pregnant.

Star of the series Raul Esparza had told E! Online details on the upcoming adaptation. He said, "I'm sure they're coming our way. I don't think there's any way the writers room will stay away from it, but who knows what form it's going to take. It won't be that exact…Ultimately, it's got to stay fiction and got to stay engaging. We don't want to recreate what you just lived through because—we'll never live up to reality because reality's getting really bizarre."
