Squad Tackles Another Juvie Case in 'Law & Order: SVU' Episode 11
Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and her team will investigate another case of juvenile delinquency in the upcoming episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."
In the episode titled "Great Expectations," the promo shows that the SVU will be tapped to probe what is supposed to be a hazing gone wrong. Trouble will arise in a young team of hockey players when it is revealed that one of their members was viciously assaulted. In the clip, a bunch of teenagers are being interviewed in their locker room. The attack reportedly took place there. No one wants to talk, prompting Benson to find another way to get to the bottom of the case.
Fin (Ice-T) is shown interrogating a young man. His strategy is to make the kid angry enough to admit the crime. Fin insinuates that the other boy was attacked because the team lost the game because of him.
Meanwhile, Benson is telling Rollins (Kelly Giddish) to use her skills to get the others to confess to her. Later on, all hell breaks lose when another assault takes place. One of the teenagers is freaking out, telling his parents to reveal the truth to the police.
Meanwhile, the series recently celebrated its 400th episode. "Motherly Love" was directed by Hargitay. The episode revolved around a mother who was willing to let her son go to jail just so she could continue living the fake life she created.
Hargitay recently spoke to E! News about her experience in directing, as well as the milestone the show reached.
"When I shot the 400th episode, I didn't download it...I was directing, so my hair was on fire, I had so much going on. I was so focused, I couldn't really take it in. Last night when I thought about seeing Dick [Wolf] and seeing this night, it was like the floodgates opened...It's 18 years...I'm just so overwhelmed and filled with gratitude and pride with what we've accomplished," Hargitay said.
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" season 18 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
