Squad to Investigate the Secrets of NYPD in 'Law & Order: SVU' Episode 13

Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and her team will be forced to investigate their own colleagues in the upcoming episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

In the episode titled "Know It All," the synopsis reveals that the SVU will take on a case of a rapist and a murderer. When the suspect realizes that the police are closing in on him, he threatens to expose the dirty secrets of those who are manning the case.

In the promo, the suspect seems to be a hacker who is skilled enough to infiltrate the New York Police Department's computer system. He is also terrorizing his victim, accessing all of her files and tapping into her phone. Benson and the others are shown trying to comfort the woman when she begins to freak out.

The SVU members have a cyber crime in their hands. They must find out where the suspect is hiding before he can do more damage. Along the way, they also need to determine what kind of secrets their NYPD co-workers are hiding that may affect the case. Benson and her team need to hurry. People are turning up dead. With the situation quickly getting out of hand, they cannot afford to make mistakes. Benson will make sure that justice will be served.

Meanwhile, fans who are hoping that Tucker (Robert John Burke) will come back for Benson may be in for a big disappointment. Executive producer Julie Martin previously hinted to The Hollywood Reporter that the captain's part in Benson's life is finished. The lieutenant will reportedly stick to her decision to prioritize her child and her work. It looks like she will have no time for romance.

"It's always been a journey for Olivia, to continue to grow and find meaning and happiness, and that journey isn't over yet.‎ Olivia will continue to try and find balance between being a mother and being an SVU lieutenant," Martin said, according to THR.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" season 18 will return on Wednesday, March 22, at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
