'Law & Order: SVU' Season 19 Spoilers: Amanda Rollins Goes Undercover for a Case

When "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" returns with a brand new episode on Nov. 8, Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) goes undercover to investigate the death of a teenage girl.

On "Unintended Consequences," the sixth episode of the season, Rollins will go undercover at a high-end rehabilitation center where the deceased was last seen alive.

Elsewhere in the episode, viewers will learn what is going on between Sgt. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Sheila (Brooke Shields). It seems like the former is left with a very little option, and would have to attempt to overcome her doubts about the latter.

Hargitay and Giddish return with fellow cast members, ICE-T as Detective Odafin Tutuola, Peter Scanavino as detective Dominick Carisi, and Raul Esparza as Rafael Barba.

Apart from Shields, Peter Scolari is expected to guest star on this episode as Dr. Dennis Barkley, Angela Oh as Katherine Lee, Christiane Noll as Sarah Curtis, Annie Corley as Rosemary Taylor, and Gus Birney as Kristi Martin.

"Unintended Consequences" was slated to premiere on the 1st of Nov. but was pushed back due to the World Series. To note, the game between the Dodgers and the Astros did not air on the network. It seems like NBC just did not want to go up against the 2017 World Series which rakes in millions of viewers.

Next episode, titled "Something Happened," which is expected to air on the 29th, secrets from Benson's past will surface as she seeks to help a victim of rape.

As revealed in the synopsis of episode 7 of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" season 19, Benson will unveil her past to help a rape victim recall certain details about that traumatic night.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" season 19 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
