Leah Remini To Have Romantic Plot With Kevin James on 'Kevin Can Wait' Season 2?

Kevin Gable (Kevin James) might be lonely after the death of his wife Donna (Erinn Hayes) at the premiere of "Kevin Can Wait" season 2, but new cast member Leah Remini claimed that her character might change his fate soon.

In an interview with New York Daily News, Remini revealed that there is a chance to see how Kevin's relationship with her character Vanessa Cellucci will evolve in the show's upcoming installments for the current season.

"These were ex-partners," the 47-year-old actress stated to describe the relationship of her character with Kevin. "They worked together, and we haven't even begun to go into the back story of that in exploring what their relationship was other than a few sentences here and there."

The actress also revealed in the same interview that working with James again on the small screen after wrapping their critically-acclaimed comedy show "The King of Queens" wrapped up in 2007 was a dream come true.

"I've worked with other leading men after Kevin, but there's something very special that you just can't kind of explain when something works with somebody," she also said.

Meanwhile, the synopsis for the next episode of "Kevin Can Wait" season 2 titled "Plus One is the Loneliest Number" revealed that Kevin will pretend to be the successful doctor that Vanessa will bring as her date for her sister's wedding to impress her judgmental father Vincent (Chazz Palminteri) after her supposed real date decided to cancel on her at the last minute.

On the other hand, Kevin's brother Kyle (Gary Valentine) will help his niece Kendra (Taylor Spreitler) and her husband Chale (Ryan Cartwright) to compose a fake photo collage of their honeymoon that they can upload on social media.

The next episode of "Kevin Can Wait" is slated to air on Monday, Oct. 16, on CBS.
