An image leaked online showing the Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact, have also featured the new fingerprint sensor.

What is believed to be a photo the Sony Xperia Z5 and the Zperia Z5 Compact have been making the rounds online, giving a better view of the new fingerprint reader design.

The other two are said to be Sony's next-generation Xperia Z smartphones, with @vizileaks calling them the "Sony Xperia Z (TBC) and Compact."

While the number "5" is yet to be confirmed, advertising has recently come out showing a James Bond Spectre movie poster with the Xperia logo, the number "5," and the text "Made for Bond," indicating Sony may have a specially designed Xperia Z5 smartphone for the upcoming 007 film.

While the leaked image didn't reveal too many details other than the apparent design elements, it shows a more elongated power button instead of the round shape Xperia smartphone users are accustomed to.`

The right side of the phone displays the volume rocker and camera button, and the addition of a fingerprint reader or sensor. Based on the Xperia Z5 Compact handset, the new sensor functionality appears to be in the elongated power button.

The image of the new phones has been leaked just a month before Sony is set to hold its IFA 2015 press conference in Berlin, and while there may be a possibility both phones may be launched during the Sept. 2 tradeshow, there has been no confirmation from Sony as to that fact.

Sony Italia earlier posted its announcement of the IFA schedule on its Twitter account showing the photos of a large touchscreen Walkman, a pair of headphones, a thin TV monitor, a gaming controller, a smartwatch, and a gaming controller, but no smartphones, and it may be safe to assume the Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact may not make a showing next month.
