Leaked iPhone 5 Photos Appear on Blog; But Are They Real? (PICTURES)
A Chinese tech blog has published images of what it purports to be leaked photos of the new iPhone, the iPhone 5.
As usual Apple is keeping hush on all things regarding its upcoming devices, but the iPhone 5 has still become one of the most anticipated tech devices in recent years.
The leaked images reveal a sleek, beautiful design, however, the photos were quickly revealed to be fake, and the work of a 36 year old industrial designer. Dutch designer Martin Hajek has said, according to Fox News: "It's been amazing and a lot of fun to see how many 'knowledgable' people fell for them."

He added, "It's a testimony to how embedded Apple has become in our daily life."
The photos were featured widely on tech blogs and review sites, and sparked great interest until they were revealed as fake.
Hajek created the photos himself and posted them on his Flickr site. He created the image as a combination of some of the other leaked images seen over recent months on the various tech blogs. Hajek has said, "As a (former) industrial designer I like to play around with 3D modeling and visualizing. Apple's unreleased products lend themselves perfectly to play with."
In other iPhone 5 rumors, just over a week ago a new video has leaked onto the Internet that shows what could be the back plate for the next-generation iPhone.
However, this is not the first time this component has popped up. Back in May, high resolution photos of both black and white next-generation iPhone backs appeared on various tech sites.
The backs in the images and in the new video show a new, thinner design for the iPhone with a smaller dock connector, new speaker grills, and a new metal back plate.
The video of the new component was posted up by a parts reseller known as ETradeSupply. The company gives a hands-on demonstration of the iPhone part.
