LeAnn Rimes 'Very Fragile' After Brandi Glanville Book Preview

LeAnn Rimes, the singer who infamously had an affair with a married man during her first marriage, is reportedly nervously awaiting the Feb. 13 release of reality TV star Brandi Glanville's first book amid their seemingly neverending feud.

The troubled singer is said to be in a "very fragile" state following reports claiming that Glanville intends to reveal explosive details about Rimes' affair with actor Eddie Cibrian in her upcoming tell-all. Rimes, who is now married to Cibrian, began an inappropriate relationship with the father of two during his 8-year-marriage to Glanville, according to FoxNews.com.

"LeAnn needed to know what to expect from it all, and knew it would be bad. Perhaps just not that bad," a source reportedly told Fox in reference to newly released excerpts published by Life & Style magazine.

"She genuinely loves [Glanville's and Cibrian's two children] and has a great bond with them, which she obviously hopes never changes, in spite of everything," the source continued.

In the book entitled "Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders" Glanville, 40, opens up about witnessing Rimes attempt to seduce Cibrian shortly before news of their affair came to light. She also reveals intimate details about life inside of her marriage to Cibrian and makes shocking revelations about Rimes, 30.

"LeAnn has kind of been through the worst of it, but has a very strong support network around her for when things become too much. It's a slow road, but she is learning to rise above it and looking at the long-term priorities – her health, marriage and being a stepmom," the source said.

"LeAnn feels the need to always defend herself," the source went on adding "But everyone is trying to stop her from engaging in it all."

Rimes, who was married at the time of the 2009 affair to dancer-turned-chef Dean Sheremet, met Cibrian, 40, on the set of the 2009 film "Northern Lights." In one excerpt Glanville details how she began to discover their affair.

"LeAnn had 'accidentally' smeared some cake frosting on her top ... and asked my husband, not realizing that I was standing behind the both of them, if he wanted lick it off her," Glanville wrote in the excerpt.

"This woman asked my husband if he wanted to eat the frosting mess she'd dropped on [her]? … He hadn't realized I was there, either, and he laughed with hungry eyes at the suggestion," she added.
