DJ Don Cannon returns to host the second installment and sequel to the original smash tape that Lecrae released in early 2012. The first Church Clothes introduced Lecrae into the mainstream market and was followed by his Grammy award-winning album Gravity.

Lecrae introduced and performed the first single from the tape titled "I'm Turnt" on BET's 106 & Park last month. Church Clothes 2 is the precursor to the rapper's next solo album, which should be released sometime during 2014. He has not announced a title for that project yet, but that information should be available soon now that the mixtape is released.

He is also rumored to be working on a compilation album with his Reach Records label mates, better known as the 116 Clique. Fellow Reach rapper Andy Mineo stated that a new record from them dropping soon might be a possibility in a recent video chat with Rapzilla.com.

"There have been some talks about it, but … we're just going to keep you guessing," he said.

Along with his solo projects, Lecrae released three albums with the 116 Clique including 2005's The Compilation Album, 2007's 13 Letters, and 2011's Man Up. They also released an EP in 2007 titled Amped.
