Lecrae will perform alongside hip hop legends and pioneers LL Cool J and Run DMC at the Christmas in Brooklyn event, which takes place on Dec. 19 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The event, which will also feature DJ Z-Trip, is being organized by New York City radio stations WBLS and Hot 97. Tickets are currently on sale and range from $25 to $220 on ticketmaster.com.

"Christmas in Brooklyn brings together two-world renowned stations with two legendary acts in hip hop as well as new artists we've come to love," said Deon Levingston, general manager of Emmis NY. "As we come off the highly successful 10th anniversary of Circle of Sisters and begin to prep for Hot 97's Summer Jam, Emmis NY remains committed to delivering our listeners once-in-a-lifetime experiences they can't get anywhere else."

Christmas in Brooklyn is a chance for both of these radio stations to celebrate the holidays with their fans in New York.

Lecrae has had a huge year with his album reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and performing on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon. He has also been a voice in the protests in Ferguson, Missouri, over the Michael Brown case.

LL Cool J recently discussed the upcoming show with Hot 97 and also shared some interesting facts about his longevity in hip hop and his faith being related.

"I mentioned earlier longevity, versatility and originality," LL Cool J said. "What I didn't mention was spirituality and believing in God.

He continued: "Every dime I get, no matter what it is, I give 10 percent to the church. I'm a life-long tither. I believe strongly in giving. I believe you got to have that faith. And I've seen it work in my life, because as much as people in the world like to take credit and claim to be geniuses, at the end of the day there's a higher power than you, and you got to answer to that power."
